Someone mentioned that "Dog Cheese" would be a good find on video. This was VC's fusion band in the 80's. The band was made up of Joni Mitchell's band members which were - Michael Landau, Larry Kline, Steve Tavaglione, and Vinnie. Joni released a video of this lineup called "Refugee's of the Road" which I was lucky enough to find in the used bin at the Warehouse. It's a very good tour video and has some excellent Vinnie moments and interviews. This is probably the only video that features the "Dog Cheese' band in it's early form. There are a few good boots available of the band at the Baked Potato from the mid 80's. Joni used to hang there and watch the band go off into space fusion. She would also sit in and sing a tune or two of her songs with them. She was married to the bass player Larry Kline. Talk about variety at a club gig!

Are you sure about this Randy? I saw them perform about 5 times and never saw Larry with them as the group Dog Cheese per say. Steve handled the Keyboard and sax duties mainy using his steinerphone-midi sax.

I just got word today that Refuge of The Road will be released on DVD in the next month.
Another band Vinnie used to play in was Robben Ford with Roscoe Beck on bass. They used to frequent the Ice House in Pasadena.

What other DVD's can VC be seen on? I know of Chaka Khan, Faith Hill, MD fest with Karizma, Sting, A.Sanz, C. Corea-blue note (VCD). Any others?
